Disc skimming

Rusty and scored discs no longer need to mean you must fit new discs at £500+. Our disc skimming equipment gives a new lease of life to the discs, as long as they are not worn close to the specified limit. They’ll gleam and behave just like new for a fraction of the cost.

On most Porsches, but especially on many of the later models that go through our workshop, machining the discs on the car means that they are "true". This is important because sometimes with brand new discs, after a very few laps on a track-day, or simply after heavy use, "running out" can occur resulting in serious brake judder, locking up and rapid wear. With our equipment we can “true-up” any warped or buckled discs and save you money from not having to buy new discs.

If possible we will re-face the pads at the same time (providing they are within specification) passing on even further savings.
