Replacement 911S pattern full aluminium engine lid. The 1968 onwards pattern, but fits all 911 models 1965 to the early 90's 964's.

Aluminium engine lid

For the 1969 model 2.0 911S, Porsche introduced a full aluminium version of the standard steel engine lid. This remained standard fitment on all 911S models up to the end of the 1971 2.2 litre model, although a few early 1972 911S models were also supplied with this lid.

A version of the aluminium inner frame was used on the approx. first 1000 1973 model Carrera RS for the inner frame of the then unique 'ducktail' rear spoiler.
