Lightweight Starter Motors

To win a race you have to finish a race and to finish a race, you need to start one. Developed through years of testing within motor-sport with companies such as Porsche, Lola and Chevron these smaller starter motors improve upon the original Porsche item.

Designed to start any engine regardless of compression or engine temperature each unit weighs just 3.9kg (the Bosch units we used to fit are 6.2kg).

A 1 year unconditional warranty is issued as standard with each unit.

They fit all 911s from 1964 to the end of the 1989 model year and use up to 50% less current than many original units.

They feature reduced gearing, which produces high-torque yet is still lighter in weight. The gear reduction gives as much as 200% more cranking power and they are ideally suited for use with small race or gel batteries as well as with early 911 dual-battery set-ups.

Exceptionally reliable with its direct acting solenoid the starter motor is also easy to fit (instructions included) for competent DIY'ers or surprisingly low labour hours if you would prefer we did it.
